Mandarin Film’s kids drama-doc, “Chinese Princess Meets the Wild”, produced by Mandarin Film and CICC, won the “Outstanding Work” award at the 30th China Documentary Academy Awards.

This prestigious event is one of China’s longest-running and highest-regarded gatherings in the documentary industry, with nearly 600 documentary creators, scholars, and media representatives from across the country coming together to reflect on the past year’s documentary achievements and explore the future of the industry.

Each episode follows the young princess on an extraordinary journey, encountering ten incredible animals—deer, silkworms, cranes, horses, pigeons, peacocks, turtles, camels, yaks, and golden snub-nosed monkeys.

Through breathtaking landscapes and touching narratives, the documentary weaves together history, emotion, and wildlife conservation, illustrating the harmonious relationship between humans and nature.

The show performed well on Chinese OTT platform YOUKU, and is distributed internationally by Boat Rocker Studios.
