We are thrilled to announce that Mandarin Film had the privilege of producing the Thailand chapter of Super Nature — an extraordinary documentary directed by Ed Sayers and presented as a mosaic of global landscapes and voices.
Beautifully and uniquely shot on Super 8, the film unfolds as an immersive, environmentally conscious journey, crafted through contributions from diverse communities across the world.
Our team captured the Thailand section, highlighting the habitats of Bryde’s whales and featuring a narrative from an award-winning Thai photographer. This unique perspective adds to the rich tapestry of the film and offers an intimate glimpse into the beauty of Thailand’s natural environment.
Super Nature will premiere as part of the Documentary Competition at the BFI London Film Festival 2025, running from October 8 to 19, 2025. Described as a “spellbinding visual and auditory experience,” the film invites audiences to marvel at the natural world through fresh, intimate perspectives.
